Tyler Dos Santos-Tam is dedicated to making our island the best it can be. As Councilmember District 6, he's working to bring new energy, vision, and aloha to our City government.

Economy and Affordability
What Tyler has done:

Crime
What Tyler has done:

Secured nearly $1 million for HPD’s Chinatown Task Force.

Passed three laws to crack down on illegal game rooms, including penalties for property owners who allow them.

Led efforts to resolve the long-standing homeless encampment on Kanoa Street.

Community Advocacy
What Tyler's done:

Helped Kalihi Valley residents reclaim parking on their streets with a new residential permit zone, and made it easier for other neighborhoods to do the same.

Took on nearly 2,500 constituent requests, as of 2026.

Led the fight against raising bus fares for Oʻahu riders.

Passed a resolution affirming that Honolulu will protect the constitutional rights of every resident.

Government Efficiency

Passed more than 10 bills clearing out outdated City laws, from pay-phone rules to the Office of Poundmaster.

Health and Safety

Brought life-saving Narcan to bars and restaurants to help stop overdose deaths.
